NOURISHING TALLOW

Grass fed tallow provides a rich, nourishing foundation for our handcrafted skincare. Naturally abundant in skin-loving fatty acids such as oleic, stearic, and palmitic acids, tallow works beautifully as an emollient, helping soften the skin and support its natural moisture barrier. Its rich texture and simple composition make it especially well suited to traditional, anhydrous skincare preparations where thoughtfully selected fats, oils, and botanicals work together to condition and nourish the skin.

BOTANICAL INGREDIENTS

Plants have been treasured for generations as part of simple, traditional skincare. At Tallowed Ground, we select botanicals such as calendula, lavender, plantain, chickweed, comfrey, and rose for their naturally occurring plant compounds and their long history of use in herbal preparations.

We slowly infuse our botanicals into nourishing oils, allowing oil-soluble constituents from the plant material to infuse into the oil. These botanical-infused oils are then blended into our tallow-based skincare to create products that soften, condition, and nourish the skin.

We believe skincare should be made with the same care as anything created by hand. That's why every Tallowed Ground product is crafted in small batches, allowing us to give thoughtful attention to each step - from infusing botanical oils to blending and filling each jar and bottle.

Small-batch crafting means our products aren't made for mass production. They're made intentionally, using carefully selected ingredients and traditional methods that
